Chemical Missile is a deadly support power available from the Tiberium Chemical Plant.
During the Second Tiberium War, Nod used special harvesters called Weed Eaters to gather Tiberium Veins in order to produce a Chemical Missile. It was launched from a local Missile Silo, and caused decent damage against most structures and units, often turning infantry into Visceroids. Once detonated at its target, it left a long lasting Tiberium gas cloud to further damage anything the cloud comes in contact with.
Nod continues the use of the Chemical Missile in the Third Tiberium War. With the increased Tiberium deposits worldwide, Nod commanders no longer need to gather Tiberium Veins to develop such missile; instead, as soon as a commander has constructed a Tiberium Chemical Plant, they can call in a Chemical Missile strike anywhere on the battlefield. Working similarly to its predecessor, the impact detonation causes decent damage at its target, and leaves a Tiberium gas cloud to damage anything in the area of effect. Infantry are mostly turned into Visceroids, who then automatically begin attacking anything nearby. The gas cloud is so massive it even damages nearby aircraft.
