The GDI Mobile Construction Vehicle is an example of the basic unit for each side, nearly every base has or will have one Construction Yard possibly created from the MCV.
Tiberium Essence[]
The MCV is slow, unarmed and fairly easy to destroy and therefore always needs protection by heavy units. It is a high-value-target for enemies and often skirmishes will arise around one. Its sole purpose is to unpack into a Construction Yard, in order to build a base of operations.
