Tiberium Essence[]

During the Second Tiberium War, GDI developed the Disruptor tank, which used harmonic resonance to destroy enemies. After the war, GDI scientists noticed the effectiveness of sonic waves when used against Tiberium crystals. The Sonic Emitter was based on this discovery, basically a stationary version of the Disruptor with a higher output, these devices were originally used in Yellow and Blue Zones to stop the spread of Tiberium. By the Third Tiberium War, however, GDI has begun converting these devices for military application, using it as a form of advanced base defense against ground targets. Its sonic waves can destroy multiple units simultaneously. However, faster units like Attack Bikes can evade the sonic wave and overrun the Sonic Emitter if micromanaged properly.
