Zone Trooper Drop Pods is a GDI reinforcement support power, available from the Orbital Deployment Center.
Tiberium Essence[]
GDI's drop pod infantry has been in use since the beginning of the Second Tiberium War. In the Third Tiberium War, drop pods are used once more to deploy rapid reinforcement infantry on the battlefield. This time they deploy two teams of veteran Zone Troopers. Once the desired location has been set, a drop pod is sent from an orbital station, quickly hits the ground, and opens for the infantry to step out.
Trivia[]
- In the base game and until version 1.5, drop pods deployed three teams of Zone Troopers rather than two, and it cost 4500 credits.
