The Nod Phantom is a versatile, multi-purpose support vehicle, capable of repairing friendly vehicles or deploying into a stealth generator to cloak all nearby friendly units.

Tiberian Sun[]

The Phantom was developed from two separate Nod vehicles. The first was the Mobile Repair Vehicle, used during the Second Tiberium War. The MRV is an unarmed vehicle, capable of performing fast field repairs, but was poorly armored and expensive, which forced it to stay behind the lines.

During the Firestorm Crisis, Nod fielded another utility vehicle: the Mobile Stealth Generator - also unarmed, but capable of cloaking all of the Brotherhood's forces and structures nearby with a stealth field. Like the MRV, it suffers from poor armor and high cost.

Tiberium Essence[]

By the Third Tiberium War, the abilities of both previous vehicles were combined into a single unit. Its cost is the same as the Avatar, making it one of Nod's most expensive units in-game. When mobile, it releases two drones that can repair nearby vehicles in same radius as a Nod War Factory.

In deployed form, it creates a cloaking field, similar to a Stealth Generator but with a smaller range. When deployed, it releases three repair drones that activate shortly upon deployment, but since the Phantom cannot move, it is rendered unable to escort moving Nod vehicles during a battle.

Trivia[]

  • Since Phantom is a Tier 2 unit and can be built right after constructing the Operations Center, the commander may cloak their base in early stage of the game, as Stealth Generator becomes available at Tier 3.
  • It uses the Mobile Repair Transport's voice clips from C&C3 Kane's Wrath.
