Temple of Nod is Nod's superweapon structure, currently appearing in its third form.

Tiberian Dawn[]

Temple of Nod was first seen during the First Tiberium War, when it was destroyed in Sarajevo by GDI forces. It served as Kane's command center and research lab, and as nuclear missile launch base. It was destroyed by an Ion Cannon strike.

Tiberian Sun[]

In the Second Tiberium War, the Temple was not used to launch nuclear missiles, but served as a research center, that unlocked advanced technology, such as Cyborg Commando. Hunter-Seeker droids were deployed from the Temple. In the first days of the Firestorm Crisis, a Nod commander acquired CABAL's core from the Temple, in order to reactivate CABAL.

Tiberium Essence[]

The role of the Temple of Nod is revamped by the Third Tiberium War. As the many functions it served previously meant that Nod could suffer a major setback should the Temple be destroyed. It no longer housed any research facilities and was redesigned from the ground up as a full fledged command center. Its state of the art mainframes allowed Nod to effectively battle any electronic jamming they might encounter and keep their surveillance system active at all times, thanks to Master Computer Countermeasures. It once again served as a nuclear missile launch base, with its facilities now located under a blast door in the temple courtyard.. Temple Prime in Sarajevo serves as Kane's main command center.
